Holiday Apartment in the Hoetgerhof
Stay in the vibrant artwork of Bernhard Hoetger
The holiday apartment in the Hoetgerhof offers an art-inspired vacation in an environment shaped by creativity and nature.
From 1921 to 1923, Bernhard Hoetger built his second residence in Worpswede on the southern slope of the Weyerberg. Using materials from the surrounding area, Hoetger created a unique building whose extraordinary atmosphere as a "walkable sculpture" can still be experienced today. With steep roofs, crooked beams, and the avoidance of right angles, he allowed the brick structure to grow organically from the forest ground.
